Dave’s latest piece for the The  Red Vic Movie House must take the prize for most ever variants !

We are proud to present Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars, showing at The  Red Vic Movie House February 1, 2 & 3 2011. This silkscreen poster is designed and hand printed by Dave Hunter at Hangar18 in West Oakland, CA. Special assist by Santi Pozzi.

Custom blended inks including a tinted silver metallic under base and metallic glitter gold make up this 5 color screen print. We printed an edition of 100, plus a handful of variants on a variety of substrates and color combos. The Foil prints were quick-dried to bring out a crackled finish in the red plate, adding a nice aged finish.
