If you haven’t been there already get over and check out the Mondo Celluloid website. Logan and his crew are doing a great job of promoting classic cinema in independent theatres across L.A , even staging their own shows with guest speakers.
Just recently Mondo Celluloid have branched out into producing their own movie screenprints and I had this quote from them about the project.
This art print project was started in December 2009, by Garry and Mondo Celluloid founder Logan Crow. The prints will be an outlet to create and spread movie themed artwork to fellow movie lovers at an appropriate venue.
A few prints that can be expected in the near future include the forthcoming “Harold and Maude” by Jodi Jones, a blaxploitation tribute for the screening of “Black Dynamite,” “The Big Lebowski,” and “Blade Runner.”
With no real goal, except to have fun and create amazing artwork, you can definitely expect the unexpected for Mondo Celluloid’s future releases.
Sounds good to me ! Which brings us nicely to Accursed Ugliness by Garry Booth , his tribute to Phantom Of The Opera.
