‘Deep Red’ and ‘Pieces’ Double Bill by Danny Miller & James Rheem Davis
News from Matt at Cinema Overdrive of a great new double bill print with Danny Miller and James Rheem Davis doing the honours. Here’s the details….
Halloween is one of our favorite times of the year and we’ve always loved presenting classic horror movies on the big screen in 35mm. In particular we love to do double features, and we’re extremely proud to present our first ever double feature poster!
On Saturday, October 8th, Cinema Overdrive will be presenting a killer double feature of Eurotrash giallo films and we’ve picked two of our all time faves: Dario Argento’s DEEP RED and Juan Piquer Simon’s PIECES. We weren’t sure what we wanted to do in terms of a poster for these films, but luckily for us Danny Miller and James Rheem Davis made that decision for us.
These two extremely talented artists had been discussing for some time how they wanted to collaborate on a project, and they felt there was no better opportunity than this double feature. So without further ado, Cinema Overdrive proudly presents the DEEP RED & PIECES combo poster, featuring artwork from both James Rheem Davis AND Danny Miller!
DEEP RED & PIECES Double Feature poster
(Blood Red Regular edition- 20″ x 30″, each hand numbered and signed by Danny Miller. 70 prints total. $30.00 each) (limit 2 per person)…and here’s a quick snapshot of the finished poster. They came out great!
…but there’s more! In the spirt of Halloween and Autumn, we have an orange color variant as well!

‘The Visitor’ by Iron Jaiden
News from Matt over at Cinema Overdrive of this great new screen-print from Iron Jaiden for their showing of ‘The Vistor’.
A 2 color screen-print measuring is 18″ x 24″ and printed by Jay himself. This has a run of 66 prints each hand signed and numbered. Priced at just $25.00 each plus shipping.
Here’s the good word from Matt…
The screening will take place on Wednesday, September 14th. Folks in attendance will have first crack at the poster. Shortly after the show we’ll send out an email blast to our mailing list subscribers, and everyone on the list will have an early opportunity to purchase the poster on a “first come, first served” basis. If we have any left after that then we’ll make them available for sale on our web site later in the week on Friday, September 16th.
To join our mailing list people simply need to visit our web site at www.cinemaoverdrive.net/merch and enter their email address. That will give them first opportunity to purchase this and all future Cinema Overdrive posters.
And as a special fun thing for our mailing list, we’re going to have a little “golden ticket” contest as well. Iron Jaiden created an *extremely* small amount of a variant of this poster, simply as a test run. He created so few of these that there aren’t enough to offer for general sale. But, some lucky collector will win this red variant in lieu of the regular edition!
If you’re signed up for our mailing list and place an order, you’ll have a chance to win this rare alternate version instead. It will be done as a complete “blind grab” so everyone will have the same chance.
